After arriving at TIA Airport Kathmandu, you must take an arrival visa from the immigration of Nepal for your stay in Nepal. However (15,30,90days), if you want to spend time in Nepal, you must pay ($30 for 15 days, 50 for 30 days). We also want to inform you that you may take up to 3 hours to complete all the procedures. It may vary according to the schedule of the plane and flight that you are coming from.
After that, we will stand at the arrival point with our banner and nameplate and take you to your hotel in the vehicle we have arranged. In this order, you will be welcomed with flowers and Khada (Special Buddhist prayer things). With all that, on the way to the hotel, you will find Nepali traffic jams, which can irritate you, but still, you will explore a little bit of the capital city of Nepal.
After we drop you off at the hotel, you will get your key as our/your reservation. Then, we will provide you with a welcome dinner somewhere in the proper Nepali style.
We begin our adventure with a scenic morning flight to Lukla, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks. After landing, we start our trek with a gradual descent to Phakding, passing through small villages and rhododendron forests along the Dudh Koshi River. The trek takes about 3-4 hours, making it a relatively easy start.
The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. We gradually ascend through pine forests, reaching the vibrant town of Namche Bazaar. It’s a challenging 6-7 hour trek, but the spectacular views of Everest and Lhotse along the way make it worthwhile.
Acclimatization is crucial before ascending further. We take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel via Syangboche Airfield-world highest airport{3800M} (Not operating now) for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Explore the vibrant markets of Namche and visit the Sherpa Museum(Private Museum by Sonam Sherpa)/ National park Museum.
The trail today offers spectacular views of the Himalayas. We descend to Phunki Thenga before a steep climb to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery. The serene setting and stunning backdrop of Ama Dablam make this a highlight of the trek.
We continue our trek through rhododendron forests, crossing the Imja Khola river to reach Pangboche. The trail gradually ascends to the village of Dingboche, surrounded by fields of barley, buckwheat, and potatoes.
A second acclimatization day with a hike up to Nagarjun Hill (5,100m) for incredible views of Makalu, Lhotse, and other surrounding peaks. This climb helps our bodies adjust to the increasing altitude.
We follow the trail through the Khumbu Glacier moraine with a steep ascent to Thukla Pass. Here, we visit the memorials of climbers who lost their lives on Everest. The walk continues to Lobuche, offering close-up views of Nuptse.
An early start takes us to Gorakshep. After a short break, we trek to Everest Base Camp. Experience the incredible atmosphere of the base camp with views of the Khumbu Icefall. We then return to Gorakshep for the night.
We start early to hike to Kala Patthar, the best viewpoint for a 360-degree panorama of Everest and the surrounding peaks. After savoring the views, we descend to Gorakshep and continue our trek to Dzongla.
Today is challenging as we cross the Cho La Pass. The trail is steep and can be icy, requiring caution. Upon crossing the pass, we descend to the village of Thagnak. The stunning views of the surrounding peaks make this a thrilling experience.
In the morning, we explore the beautiful Gokyo Lakes, surrounded by towering peaks. Optionally, you can hike up to Gokyo Ri (5,357m) for a panoramic view of Everest, Cho Oyu, and the entire Gokyo Valley. That hike to Gokyo Ri provides breathtaking views of the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal.
